1Q: What ports need to be forwarded on the router for remote viewing?
1A: All Truview DVRs/NVRs have default ports of the following:
HTTP Port: 80
Server Port: 8000
RTSP Port: 554
2Q: Can you change the ports to my own preference?
2A: Yes, you can change them to whatever you prefer, but there are some ports that are restricted and the system will notify you if the entry is restricted port.
3Q: What is the name of the phone application?
3A: iOS: iVMS-4500 // Android: iVMS-4500
4Q: Where can I download the PC software?
4A: You can download the PC Client @ www.unitekcctv.com. There’s a software download button on the home page.

1A: Install the SQL V 2008
Need to Install the Net Frame Work before the SQL Database
As for Windows 7, the .NET Framework 3.5.1 is included as system component.
To install/uninstall the .NET Framework 3.5 SP!, you can go to Start menu -> Control Panel -> Programs -> Turn Windows features on or off,
unselect the checkbox of the Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1, click OK. Then open it again, and select the checkbox this time, click OK.
If there are any problems occur during the installation, you can collect the installation log files and analyze them.
You can follow the steps below to collect the log files:
· Try to clean your “%temp%” folder (Start Menu >> Run >> Type “%temp%).
· Install .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 again.
· Collect the logs from “%temp%” folder with the Log Collection Tool

· You can find the vslogs.cab file in the %temp% folder.
2Q: Can I install Eyeongate on a Windows 8 or 10?
2A: Eyeongate is not compatible with Windows 8 or 10.
1Q: What is the default password for Freedom DVR?
1A: ADMIN / 1234 (case sensitive)

1Q: I had set my Watchman DVR to record on motion but it is recording 24/7?
1A: The user probably clicked the DVR record button located on the bottom right hand corner of the client software, which made the DVR go into panic mode recording.
2Q: Why is my watchman not recording?
2A: By default the system is set to manual recording, meaning you have to turn the recording on with your preferred settings.
3Q: Watchman mobile application name?
3A: EZ-NetViewer both are available on the APP store and PLAY store.
4Q: Does Watchman support multiple displays
4A: There are 3 display ports, HDMI/VGA/BNC SPOT (But HDMI & VGA replicate each other, they do not act differently)
5Q: Is spot monitor customizable?
5A: Yes, the spot is customizable to Single,4CH,9CH & 16CH split mode.
6Q: Audio Support?
6A: Yes all models 4CH support full channel audio respectively.
7Q: Can I view multiple Watchman DVR’s / Locations at the same time?
7A: The “UCMS” program allows up to 64 camera’s but you can run multiple instances of the program if you have camera’s exceeding that count.
8Q: How many ports do you need to open for remote viewing?
8A: Watchman requires only one port to be open.
9Q: What is the frames per second on the unit?
9A: Real time 120/240/480.
10Q: Where was the DVR made?
10A: Assembled in China but programmed in Korea.
11Q: Do I need a playback program when I make a backup of a video?
11A: If you download and playback with the native dvr format you do require the playback program but if you archive in *.avi format a playback program is not necessary, all you would need is a media player that recognizes AVI format.
12Q: I can’t get the menu on the screen and my mouse is not working either.
12A: Are you plugged into the main display (HDMI / VGA) or are you viewing it on a monitor with a composite signal (Coax)?
13Q: I forgot my password for the watchman DVR or I changed the screen resolution settings on my DVR and i can’t see the video anymore?

14Q: How do I install the UCMS for a MAC?
14A: To Manually Launch Application:
While holding down the control key on your keyboard, click the application’s icon once to make a dropdown menu appear.
Control+click to open the context menu, then select Open from the top
Select Open from the menu. A new window will appear.
15Q: How to clear the System Log.
